A converted pig house. Bedroom downstairs, living and kitchen upstairs, reading nook over the orchard.
Originally an actual pigsty. A one-bedroom self-catering cottage with the layout turned on its head: bedroom downstairs (because it stays cooler), living and kitchen upstairs (where the views are).
The bedroom takes a super-king bed, dressed in proper linen, with a separate WC and walk-in shower next door.
Up the stairs is the heart of the place: an open-plan living and kitchen area with high exposed beams. A small reading nook by the kitchen window looks out across the orchard and the wildflower meadow. It's where most guests end up with their morning coffee.
Outside, a sunny patio out the front with picnic table and chairs, and direct access to the wildflower meadow and woods around the back.
Ten minutes from Falmouth, three from Penryn Campus, walking distance to the village pub. A characterful, quirky base for exploring Cornwall.
