What you're booking

Three cottages, six adults, the whole smallholding.

Each cottage is its own self-contained unit with a kitchen, bathroom, sitting space and bedroom. Three acres of meadow, garden and orchard wrap around them. When all three are booked, the whole site is yours.

Cottages

3

One bedroom each. Each sleeps 2 adults.

Maximum group size

6 adults

Plus up to 3 infants (one per cottage).

Parking

3 cars

One off-road space per cottage.

Shared spaces

3 acres

Meadow, orchard, garden, firepit.

What that looks like in practice: gathering around the firepit at sunset. A game of frisbee in the meadow before dinner. Getting the guitar out after the kids are asleep, with no other guests to disturb. Private cottages at night, shared outdoor space by day.

We don't have a communal indoor room, but the field is yours when all three cottages are booked. If you've got something specific in mind for your stay, tell us and we'll help where we can.

What it suits

Real scenarios we've hosted.

Graduation weekends at Falmouth and Exeter. Common pattern: parents in one cottage, the graduating adult and partner in another, sometimes a sibling couple in the third. Five minutes from Penryn Tremough Campus, ten from Falmouth Town. Easier and quieter than juggling Falmouth hotel rooms during graduation week.

Both sets of parents joining a couple's trip. One cottage for the couple, one for each set of parents. Everyone gets their own front door, breakfasts together, time out together during the day.

Attending a wedding nearby. Falmouth has plenty of wedding venues. If your party fits within six adults across three cottages, Trewena is a decent base, you can come back to the meadow and the firepit rather than a Travelodge corridor.

Small family reunions. Three sibling couples, or parents and two adult-child families, who want their own space at night and shared time outdoors during the day.

Friends celebrating a milestone. A 40th, a returning-from-abroad reunion, an anniversary trip. Three couples, dinner together at one of the cottages in the evening, separate doors at night.

Quiet corporate retreats. Six colleagues, three cottages, a focused day or two with the meadow as a thinking space. We've had small leadership offsites work well here.

Want to make it special?

Tell us what you've got in mind.

If you're booking the whole site for an occasion, we can usually help make it more memorable. We're not a venue and we don't run an in-house catering operation, but we know the suppliers in the area and the field is yours when all three cottages are booked.

Tell us what you'd like and we'll do what we can. If we can't, we'll point you at someone who can.

How to book

Three separate bookings, one conversation.

We don't have a "book all three" widget. The cleanest path is:

  1. Email or WhatsApp us with your dates and group size.
  2. We'll confirm availability across all three cottages and hold them while you decide.
  3. We make three individual bookings, one per cottage, all under the lead booker's name.
  4. If you're booking for guests other than yourself we coordinate guest names, ID and arrival logistics together.

For frequent or repeat group bookings (a returning corporate retreat, a family that comes every year), we can arrange tailored rates and proper invoices.
